Three sisters struggling to deal with an aging mother come to grips with each other and what it really means to get old.
Four women: Ages 20-60+
1 mother, 3 daughters
As modern medicine and improved lifestyles extend our life expectancy, what to do with our aging population is one of the most pervasive problems we face as a society today. What to do with your aging mother is one of the most personal.
A funny, poignant, realistic look at the challenges of old age as seen through the eyes of four very different women with four different agendas!
In the Kitchen is a 120 - minute full-length, two-act, multimedia play designed to be performed on a black box stage with pictures projected against the back wall. The movement between scenes and monologues should flow seamlessly, allowing the actors to speak directly to the audience and then back to one another as their story unfolds.

Legend has it that in the heyday of The Oprah Show when book clubs eagerly awaited her every selection, it was rumored that Oprah would, on occasion, visit one of these clubs without fanfare or publicity after getting a letter that touched her heart.
Uproariously funny, devastatingly honest, and forever memorable, the five ladies of the First Tuesday Book Club (that meets on Thursdays!) whether knowingly or not, cut to the core of the true essences of friendship.
Waiting for Oprah is a 90-minute full-length play that can be performed with or without an act break. The stage is a simple single living room setting
PEOPLE ARE TALKING ...
"Waiting for Oprah rocks!!! A truly well-structured play, with characters that never ring like 'characters' in a drama. These women, waiting on Oprah, are real. Their issues are real, and the play breathes. I'm a playwright, and when I come across a beautifully written and structured play, I shout about it. BRAVO!!!" Harold A. Bascom

After their family garden statue of the Virgin Mary begins to cry real tears, Adele is convinced it’s the miracle she has prayed for, but it’s not the answer she expected.
Three sisters: Ages 30-45
Man 35+
Sightings of the Virgin Mary crying real tears are not as unusual as you would think. Whether they are a miracle or a figment of one's imagination is up for debate. But the effect it can have when it's your family that's crying can threaten the very foundations of faith and love.
A dark comedy that embraces the Biblical story of the return of the prodigal son...only this time it's a daughter...questioning the morality of suicide, abortion, and the rights of the LGBTQ community openly and honestly with the Virgin Mary privy to it all.
Virgin Tears is a 90-minute full-length play that takes place in the backyard garden of Adele, Chandler, and Mattie's childhood home in Pennsylvania. It can be realistic or created with the lights and shadows on an empty stage.
